ACCOUNT MANAGER

LOCATION: BANBURY

Job Description

CPB UK are growing their Account Management team and are looking to recruit a determined, money motivated and results-driven sales professional to continue to expand CPB UK’s customer base across the IT / Technology market.

The Account Manager position, comprises of;

  • Account Management (existing business)
  • New logo acquisition (new business)
  • Managing and developing existing client accounts
  • Identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities
  • Building sales pipeline
  • Upselling & cross-selling
  • Fulfilling whitespace selling across account base
  • Accurately forecasting quoted work & probability of conversion
  • Working to a quarterly sales target (secured / invoiced revenue)
  • Cold calling (KPI’s)
  • Marketing generated lead follow up (KPI’s)
  • Understanding customers’ goals and designing marketing campaigns to fit
  • Compiling marketing campaigns proposals for customer consideration
  • Negotiating contracts
  • Regularly attending customer site
  • Regularly having telephone conversations with customers
  • Working closely with the Service Delivery team
  • Attending IT events
  • Reporting to the Business Development Director (for initial training period), after which, reporting to the Head of Account Management & Service Delivery

We are looking for the right attitude not just experience as a full training, tailored towards your needs is given. However, desirable skills include:

  • Full UK driving license
  • Proven sales track record (12+ months)
  • Knowledge of the IT industry (preferred but not essential)
  • Basic knowledge of marketing services, i.e. digital, social, telemarketing (preferred but not essential)
  • Internal applicants: Must be at Marketing Services Professional level or above

LOCATION: BANBURY

Job Description

The role involves marketing IT products and services through B2B cold calling with the objective of generating leads for IT clients. You will be the first human contact with end users, starting the sale process which is then complemented by other marketing services and lead generation activities.

  • B2B cold calling to generate sale leads
  • Drive sales through lead generation inclusive of, prospecting, appointment setting, event registration and surveys
  • Writing clear reports
  • Updating and maintaining our contact database, Teletalk
