Each interview offers a behind-the-scenes look at their roles, experiences, and what inspires them to make a difference every day.

In the fourth of the Inside CPB: Meet the Team series, we talk to Head of Account Management, Lucy Brennan. Lucy heads up the team responsible for building and nurturing strong, lasting relationships with clients. With a commitment to delivering exceptional service, Lucy ensures that every client receives the attention, insight, and support they need to achieve their goals. 

She excels at aligning CPB’s services with each client’s unique objectives, driving growth and delivering measurable results. Her leadership style is collaborative and solutions-focused, empowering her team to go above and beyond in delivering outstanding client experiences. 

Lucy is passionate about building strong connections and driving mutual success and is dedicated to maintaining CPB’s reputation as a trusted partner to its clients. 

Let's meet Lucy... 

Q1. What inspired you to join CPB UK?  

LB: Having spent several years working for a competitor of CPB, I developed a strong understanding of the IT channel and a real passion for the industry. After a brief time away, I realised how much I missed it and was eager to return. When I was approached about the opportunity at CPB, it felt like perfect timing—and honestly, like fate. I was excited by the chance to join a company with such a strong reputation and contribute to its continued success. 

Q2. What is your prime focus as part of the management team?  

LB: As Head of Account Management, my prime focus is to deliver revenue growth both CPB but also for my customers. I’m responsible for driving strategic account development, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring my customers goals are met.  

Q3. What is your favourite part about working at CPB UK?  

LB: No two days are the same at CPB UK, which is one of the things I enjoy most. The fast-paced nature of the tech industry means our campaign messaging and go-to-market strategies are constantly evolving. It creates an environment of continuous learning and innovation, which keeps the role both exciting and rewarding. 

Q4. What challenges have shaped you as a manager?  

LB: In today’s economic climate, there’s been a stronger emphasis on ROI and funding, which has challenged me to rethink and refine our campaign processes. It’s been a valuable opportunity to become more agile, adapting strategies to meet evolving expectations while maintaining performance. This shift has strengthened my ability to lead with open-mindedness, communicate with clarity. 

Q5. What is something people might be surprised to learn about you?  

LB: I’ve broken nearly every bone in my body… I guess you could say I’m ‘humerus-ly resilient’! 

Q6. How do you encourage growth in your team members?  

LB: I encourage growth by listening actively, challenging ideas constructively, and collaborating to find the best path forward. I believe the greatest outcomes come from open dialogue, shared thinking, and a willingness to explore different perspectives. It’s about creating a space where people feel heard, supported, and inspired. 

Q7. If you weren’t in this role, what career would you pursue?  

LB: If I weren’t in this role, I’d still be in account management, just in a different setting. I genuinely love working with people, building relationships, and helping clients solve challenges. That sense of partnership and being able to make a real impact is what drives me, that would be at the heart of what I do.
